Grant Rant #114 – Grant Cardone: New York Times best selling author is here today to talk about why he's moving out of California.

After living in California for 20 years Grant is moving out of the state of California and he wanted to address why he's doing that.

Grant feels that it's his responsibility #1 because it's the right thing for his family #2 because it's the right thing for his business and #3 because it's the right thing as an American.

Grant wrote the California governor Jerry Brown a few months ago and said he doesn't want more taxes and that this was a mistake. Jerry Brown wants to take Californian taxes from 103% and raise them to 13%. That might not seem like a lot of money to you but the truth is that close to 30% increase in taxes. In addition to that Jerry Brown also says it's only for 5 years (you know that's a lie) and he said the money is gonna go to the educational system. Grant's kids don't even go to the schools.

'Grant has been taxes in Los Angeles and California for 20 years. He pays lots of property taxes for 20 years, income taxes for 20 years, car and registration taxes for 20 years. Grant has done his part and now he's standing up and saying it's enough. Jerry Brown can't even manage what Grant has already given him and now he wants more. It's ridiculous.

The very same time this week the government makes a decision to cut the taxes of government employees by 5%. So he's gonna take the guy that's making $60K a year and cut him by 5% and then he's gonna take the guy that's making a million and add 3%. It might seem fair to you, but it's not fair to Grant.

And this is what happens…

Anybody that can roll will leave and Grant is leaving. Grant is doing what you should do. Go to the state that is friendliest to your success. Go where you have the best chance of making it. Go where your family has the best chance to make it, to put their financial life together, to educate their children, to have quality of life. If it's not where you're at? Dude, you're in a free country. Get up and move! That's what you should be doing.

Grant will now vacation in California and he can vacation there a lot and still enjoy the weather, still enjoy the city, still enjoy the beauty, but they won't collect his taxes. That's the problem with Jerry Brown's programming. It would be like Blackberry raising their prices on their phones right now when they're losing market share. It's a mistake. It's what government does. You need to take a stand in your state, in your county, in your city and say no more taxes. We already gave you enough and you misused it.

If you were a business owner and had an employee who showed up late, couldn’t balance their cash drawer, was rude to customers, had a bad attitude and couldn’t fully explain their duties, would you give them a raise? How long would you let them work for you? Don’t forget folks, as a tax payer, California is your employee…

Jerry Brown and the Rich and Powerful Entertainment Business along with wall street corruption has all but destroyed a once beautiful state. The average American people are not very happy. Jerry Brown opened the borders to our country and has corrupted our constitution.
